The Kings County Public Health Laboratory (PHL)is a California and Medicare certified laboratory that provides a full range of diagnostic microbiological and immunological examinations in the control of infectious and communicable diseases.  The Kings County PHL is staffed with highly trained, experienced, and California-certified Public Health Microbiologists and support staff.

Essential Tests and Referral Services

The Kings County PHL provides clinical and reference testing utilizing sophisticated, state-of-the-art technology.  Laboratory services provided include testing for:

• Valley Fever
