About Us
The Kern County Public Health Laboratory (PHL) is the communicable disease reference lab for the county. As a key resource for information, the Public Health Lab (PHL) provides consultation to community physicians, hospitals, and other laboratories on diseases of public health significance.
Essential Tests and Referral Services
The Kern County PHL provides clinical and reference testing utilizing sophisticated, state-of-the-art technology. Laboratory services provided include:
